Cest La Vie

Four years have just fluttered by in a battle of an eyelid. How amazing. We've trod on the paths of the long winding roads and hilly terrains of NTU thus far, and it was indeed bittersweet. I dare not say as many of my friends said with vigor and absolute truth that NTU has contributed nothing to my growth and maturity as a young adult. NTU has indeed helped me to see things in many perspectives, but of course, I dare to say it was rather minimal.

I do not preach that to justify the many stereotypes that NTU is a boring concrete grey prison that people choose as a dumping ground to attain their much justified and easily obtained "toilet paper". What I meant was definitely on a more macro perspective. Being enrolled in a course that required many hands-on practicums, projects and initiatives, I was hardly in school. My impression of NTU, especially WKWSCI, is a holding ground where I can always belong to when I needed solace and help from teachers and friends. It is always a delight to move around the benches and see friends either mugging or preparing their presos. And it is uncommon that we do not start bursting out in laughters and start casting our works aside for senseless bitching. That is home, truly.

I have been abroad for several exchanges and projects and that helped me to build my portfolio and overseas perspective thus far. I thank NTU for always giving me the opportunity over others in this aspect. I dare say I have lived a vibrant and colourful life in school.

And here comes the end. The end of school and the beginning of a new phase in life. The Final Year Preso went pretty smooth and it was indeed a long journey we have taken. Exams begin tomorrow, and I am still trying to prep myself up to study for this final final year exams.

To conclude. Here's a shot from preso yesterday. :)

I'm glad both of us went thru all these so far, my dear friend.
