Cheated

Today I was just randomly surfing my torrent feeds and checking if there are new shows worth watching. And I saw my Ugly Betty season 3 feed updated. Curious, I clicked in to realise that all episodes have been out, long ago! I felt extremely cheated! I was told ABC was ceasing it because of low receptivity, and that the next episode (14) would only be released in June. I didn't check in until now! So angry! Now my Transmission is happily downloading.

Many would say that Ugly Betty is dropping in production standards, and that the storyline is boring and over the top, but to me, it is a show that is really beautiful despite the title. The vicious workings of the publishing business and the politics that of course are exaggerated - they portray to me a real picture of the world. I like it, primarily because it has always been my dream to edit a magazine, and also because there are always certain lessons to be drawn from the show.
