This title was from Alexis. Not that the beef noodles failed to please us but that we failed to taste it. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that the shop is closed only on the day that we wanted to visit for a meal. Darn! Why did they choose just this day and not Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday? You get my drift.
Irritated and sweaty, the "ngiam ngiam" people went over to Hong Lim for western food and sugar cane juice. It was as yummy as usual. I love it how their oil is not BLACKISH as compared to other WF stores where they recycle their oil for one whole week and the golden fries actually looked burnt and brownish. Well, no carbs, so I didn't eat the fries. Here's a look at the Chicken Chop and some obligatory camwhoring pictures.
After that we adjourned to Chinatown Point Mcds for some home-made brownies. Love my mum's baking. Yummy. :) Scott then left to gossip at Filament while we made our way home. Was a short, disappointing, but nonetheless fun meet up.
Hock Lam, you better get your act together when we next visit. Or we swear we will leave footprints on your front door. Haha. Damn the craving is still there. Sigh.
